" SHE IS AN old soul WITH new style, WHO WEARS BLACK AND SPEAKS HER MIND. SO POWERFUL, SHE LEAVES HER PRINTS ON EVERYONE SHE TOUCHES BECAUSE SHE IS BOTH: a savage AND a sweet heart." - S. MCNUTT

AirBnb Vancouver - Children's Hospital

Updated: Mar 3

Our youngest daughter had to get a surgery done at Children's Hospital in Vancouver BC beginning of November.

I am very particular about where I will and won't stay away from my house. I have major anxiety when it comes to cleanliness. Most of it is usually in my head, but I will do a detail sweep of wherever were staying before we unpack our bags, in case we need to switch rooms or find something else due to cleanliness.

I am the kind of traveler that will read every review, within reason, before booking a place. So I feel that its only fair to give a good review when a host or company has gone above and beyond, so that other travelers can enjoy the same experience, and hopefully not end up with a bad one.

First thing I look at online for accommodations are First Impressions, is it aesthetically pleasing? If someone cares enough to provide these for their potential guests, you know they care about the space, which then means the standard of cleanliness will be high, and they will go above in beyond in making sure your stay is amazing.

  • The AirBnB that we stayed in was only a 10 minute drive from Children's Hospital. 20 max if you hit traffic time. It was very convenient being close for having to be there early for the surgery.

  • They had self check in, which is amazing. Communication between host and guest was great!

  • The Suit was completely detached from the house and was its own place. Separate walk way and all. It was very relaxing considering the circumstances.

  • 3 bedrooms

  • 1 bathroom

  • full kitchen, including dishwasher

  • kitchen was stocked

  • TV, google chrome cast,

  • FREE wifi (always a must)

  • Communication was great!

  • welcomed with a basket of goodies as well, chips, pop, ect.

They appreciated my feedback very much when I suggested the white or neutral linens, helping catch the eye of those looking through bedroom photos of their place before booking. I am definitely one to notice this, esspeially if they have a duvet or a quilt. Quilts RARLEY get washed, but duvet covers are easy to pull off when cleaning the sheets, so if you are a clean freak, TIP, look at the bedding!

I was VERY pleased with this choice! Check out the link, if you ever need accommodation close to Children' Vancouver this will be your GO-TO
